HWC: But then a flash made me…

It was a pretty much normal day. A light shower of rain fell softly over my shoulders as I made my way towards my house, and small birds flew overheard.

But then the flash made me jump. It was followed by 5 more forks of lightning stabbing across the sky towards the earth.

My arms tingled and a slight shiver ran up my spine towards my head.

The shock was big. My mind delayed for a split second before sending the vital message to my head: RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I pelted to home, knowing one fact.

There are never storms here. Never.
