HWC

Another HWC. this time the prompt is as the door slammed, I knew.

As the door slammed, I knew I was in trouble.

The loud bang of wood hitting wood echoed around the house for a few seconds. Then the sound of somebody stomping down the stairs like a crazed hippo followed not long after. I listened to the sound of somebody throwing themselves onto the couch and sighing loudly. When somebody slams the door in my house, there’s trouble, or something has gone horribly wrong.

When I heard that sound, I knew that something bad would happen.

Yep. When he’s mad or sad or angry my brother eats all the good food.

Forest Poems

I wrote 3 poems about forests. Here they are.

F is for forgotten, as most of these are.

O is for oak, as some of the trees are.

R is for rare, as there aren’t many left.

E is for excellent, because that’s what they are.

S is for saving, which is what we should do.

T is for trees, because that’s what they’re full of.

Progress

As we know,

Some things will go.

Once calm and tall

Now weak and small

Things we love

People will shove

Away from us

It’s quite serious.

Soon the world,

When it is quite old,

Our forests will be gone.

Forests

Beautiful and calm, it’s amazing and unreal.

It’s age and wisdom can make one feel

Small and insignificant

Like a mouse next to an elephant

Its age and beauty makes me sad

Because some people are quite bad

How long will this forest last?

Will it disappear slowly or leave fast?

HWC: most treasured object.

My most treasured object is small and has golden brown hair.

It has large ears and a long tail with long hairs and it has a long wet tongue and loves to run around in the garden. my most treasured object is gentle and sweet and loves to eat food. My most treasured object is cute and has brown eyes and is mostly happy. My most treasured object is like the glue that unites my family. My most treasured object is a nice adorable thing who likes everyone she meets.

I love my most treasured object, and it loves me.

That was my HWC about my most treasured object. Can you guess what it is?

I am me

We had to do a poem for class about who we are. Here’s mine

I am the girl who loves animals

I am the student who is very calm.

I am the friend that is nice to people.

I am the sister who doesn’t like her brothers.

I am the cousin who gets annoyed by her family.

I am the youngest child who is always annoyed by her siblings.

I am the person that is usually happy.

I am the girl who cares for others.

I am Emma.
